My work on Oyster was shaped by preparation and a conscious effort to stay out of the way once shooting began. In pre-production, I worked closely with the director to translate intention into clear structure, developing shot lists, lighting plans, and floor layouts that allowed the set to function smoothly. This groundwork meant fewer decisions needed to be made under pressure. On set, my focus shifted toward communication across departments and trusting what had already been established. I remained involved through post-production via sound design, treating audio as part of the film’s interior space rather than a layer added on top. The film premiered theatrically at Roxy Cinemas and went on to an international festival run.
