My role on The Guest Room, a thriller and the largest production I had worked on at the time, was focused on camera operation and execution. In pre-production, I worked closely with the camera department to fully internalize the director of photography’s vision, ensuring that intent translated cleanly into practice. On set, my priority was reliability, executing demanding shots with consistency and control so that the camera was never the reason for an additional take. The work was less about authorship and more about supporting the rhythm and efficiency of a complex production.
